Years of Finance Leadership Experience Across Nonprofit, Healthcare & Public Sectors
Professional Financial Expertise Combined With Trauma-Informed Practice
Committed to Making Financial Wellbeing More Compassionate, Accessible, and Transformational

Sheila Baroro, CPA, didn’t spend more than two decades leading finance teams and managing multi-million-dollar budgets simply to understand the numbers. Her professional journey taught her something deeper: financial success does not always lead to financial peace.
That realization changed the way she viewed money and ultimately led her to become a certified Trauma of Money Practitioner. Today, Sheila brings together her extensive financial expertise and understanding of trauma and lived experiences to help people explore the emotional patterns that influence their financial decisions.
Her work goes beyond traditional financial advice. Sheila creates safe, compassionate spaces where people can understand the roots of financial stress, shame, guilt, scarcity, and self-doubt and then begin building greater confidence, self-trust, resilience, and financial wellbeing.
Sheila brings more than 20 years of experience as a finance leader, combined with specialized training as a certified Trauma of Money Practitioner. But her approach is not about telling people what they should do with their money.
It’s about helping people understand themselves, their experiences, and the beliefs that may be shaping their relationship with money.
Sheila works with professionals, entrepreneurs, caregivers, newcomers, and individuals rebuilding their lives, as well as organizations supporting women, survivors of gender-based violence, people impacted by incarceration, and other communities seeking compassionate approaches to financial well-being.
Because lasting financial well-being begins with more than financial knowledge. It begins with understanding, self-trust, and the freedom to create a new relationship with money.
MISSION
Sheila believes that money is never just about numbers. It is connected to our experiences, beliefs, relationships, culture, identity, and sense of self-worth.
Her mission is to make financial well-being more compassionate, accessible, and transformational by helping people understand how life experiences can shape their financial behaviors and empowering them to create new possibilities.
Through keynotes, workshops, webinars, transformational coaching, group programs, and organizational consulting, Sheila brings trauma-informed conversations about money into spaces where they can create meaningful change.
Her message is simple:
You don't have to remain defined by the money story you inherited or the experiences you've lived through. With awareness, compassion, and the right tools, you can begin writing a new one.
WHY SHEILA?
Because Sheila brings together two worlds that are rarely connected: deep financial expertise and a compassionate understanding of the emotional side of money.
As a CPA and certified Trauma of Money Practitioner, she helps audiences move beyond traditional conversations about budgeting and financial success to explore what truly shapes our financial lives.
When you work with Sheila, you’re not simply getting financial information. You’re creating space for insight, healing, confidence, and lasting transformation.
Real transformation starts with feeling seen, understood, and empowered.
